Join us for a traditional embroidery course spanning 4 weeks, starting on the 10th of November 2023. This course is designed for individuals with no prior experience in embroidery. During the first week, you will be introduced to the enchanting world of embroidery, where you will become familiar with the materials, stitches, and fabrics used. Additionally, there will be a demonstration on transferring designs onto fabric and a demonstration on executing a straight stitch. Following this, you will embark on creating your own sampler.
In the second week, you will delve into the art of color blending using 6-stranded threads and learn a new stitch technique. Moving forward to the third week, we will explore the intricacies of other stitches stitch. Finally, in the fourth week, you will master the technique of creating French knots. With each passing week, you will incorporate a different design into your sampler, allowing you to expand your repertoire of embroidery skills.
The workshop sessions will take place on Friday mornings from 10 am to 1 pm. As an added treat, homemade cake and refreshments will be provided to keep you energized and inspired throughout the course. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some basic knowledge, this course offers an ideal opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of traditional embroidery.
