A47 Roadworks – What It Means for Eau Brink Studio Visitors
You may have seen signs or received a letter from National Highways about upcoming evening closures on the A47 between Tilney Shoreboat Roundabout and Pullover Roundabout. The work begins Monday 17 November 2025 and will continue into March 2026, as the team replaces the street lighting along that stretch of road.
While the phrase “road closed” might make your heart sink, please don’t worry — you can still get to Eau Brink Studio easily, even during the evening works.
Getting to the Studio – No Problem at All
National Highways have confirmed that local access will be maintained throughout the project. That means if you’re coming to an evening workshop, you’ll be able to travel as normal — and if you’re heading home after 9pm, you’ll simply be escorted safely through the works by the traffic management team.
They’ve also reassured us that the closures won’t be set up until after 8pm, so anyone arriving for an evening workshop won’t be affected. There might be a short wait at the end of the night for an escort vehicle, but the team have promised to keep this to a minimum.
To make everything as smooth as possible, we’ve been given official escort authorisation letters. If you’re attending an evening workshop, please collect one from the studio beforehand — it just lets the road team know you’re visiting us.
Evening Shopping & Studio Visits
To make things even better, Eau Brink Studio will now be open every Thursday evening until 7pm from Thursday 20 November to Thursday 18 December.
This is the perfect opportunity to:
🧵 Browse the shop at your leisure
🎨 Explore what’s happening in the studio
🎁 Pick up a few creative gifts or a treat for yourself
And don’t forget — we also have Eau Brink Studio Gift Vouchers, ideal for anyone who loves textiles, creativity, or learning something new. These can be used towards any workshop or shop purchase, either in part or in full.
Thank You for Your Patience
We know roadworks can be frustrating, but these improvements will make the A47 brighter and safer for everyone once completed. In the meantime, Eau Brink Studio will remain open as usual, full of colour, creativity, and friendly faces.
If you ever have any concerns about getting here, just give me a call or send an email — I’ll happily help you plan the easiest route.
Let’s keep creating, even if there’s a bit of road dust in the air!
💜
