Blustery Days & Bright Plans Ahead

It’s been a chilly, blustery few days here at Eau Brink Studio. The kind of wind that whirls threads through the air and sends inspiration tumbling out the door! On days like these, it’s tempting to settle in with a hot cuppa and wait for the muse to return.

But behind the scenes, the creative energy hasn’t stopped. We’ve been busy planning ahead and updating the website with fresh workshops for 2026. It feels wonderful to map out new ideas and collaborations so far in advance—giving everyone the chance to dream, book early, and look forward to the year ahead.

You’ll soon see more of Ruth Holmes’ workshops for 2026 appearing on the site, alongside other favourites and a few surprises still to come. As always, these workshops are designed to stretch creativity, spark curiosity, and bring like-minded people together in the studio.

And on a more personal note, this past week also brought a special moment outside of the studio: our wedding. It was a very small ceremony, but the love and kindness sent our way through cards, messages, and congratulations meant the world to us. I wanted to share a little poem as a thank you:

Though our wedding was simple, quiet, and small,

Reminded us deeply how much you cared.

Our little celebration was brighter with you.
