Creative Craft Show NEC Recap & A New Chapter for Eau Brink Studio
Four incredible days at the Creative Craft Show NEC, and what an experience it has been.
These large craft shows are always filled with energy, inspiration, and connection. From meeting returning visitors to chatting with new faces, sharing textile art, and talking all things stitching, it’s a space that truly celebrates creativity.
For me, it’s never just been about selling or demonstrating, it’s about community. The conversations, the ideas, the inspiration we all share.
And that’s why this moment feels so significant.
For now, this will be my last large-scale show like the NEC.
Not an easy decision, but one shaped by the need to adapt. Running a creative business means constantly evolving, and sometimes that means stepping back in one area to grow in another.
Adapting in a Creative Business
Change can feel uncomfortable, but in creativity, it’s often where the most exciting work begins.
Just like in textile art , where layers, stitch, and materials evolve into something unexpected, adapting in business can open new opportunities.
Stepping away from large craft shows allows me to focus more on:
Workshops and teaching at Eau Brink Studio
Developing new textile art projects
Building smaller, more meaningful creative experiences
Expanding ideas that have been waiting in the background
This shift isn’t about stopping, it’s about refocusing.
Embracing Change in Creativity
Adapting to change is something we all face, whether in our creative practice or everyday life.
When we embrace it, rather than resist it, we create space for new ideas, new directions, and new energy.
This next chapter is about doing just that, growing Eau Brink Studio in a way that feels sustainable, inspiring, and connected.
Thank You for Being Part of the Journey
To everyone who visited my stand at the NEC, attended a workshop, or stopped for a chat, thank you.
Your support, conversations, and enthusiasm mean more than you realise.
This isn’t the end of the journey, it’s simply a new direction.
And I’m excited to see where it leads.
