Discover how heat can completely transform Lutradur in this creative, hands-on textile workshop at Eau Brink Studio.
During this three-hour session, you’ll explore the more textured and experimental side of Lutradur, using heat, cutting and surface manipulation to create delicate, distressed and organic effects for textile art, embroidery and mixed media work.
Working with several different weights of Lutradur, you’ll discover how the material reacts to heat — shrinking, melting and burning back to create lace-like holes, uneven edges and fascinating surface textures.
You’ll create a collection of samples to take home while building confidence in using heat safely and creatively.
This workshop follows naturally from The Art of Lutradur: Colour, Print & Surface, although no previous Lutradur experience is needed.
