Quilted Lottie Jacket Workshop with Cat Nash

Make your own quilted jacket from a duvet cover and leave with a fully finished, wearable garment.

Led by Cat Nash at Eau Brink Studio in West Norfolk, this two-day workshop will guide you step by step through transforming reclaimed textiles into a stylish, quilted jacket. Working at a steady and supportive pace, you’ll prepare your fabrics, cut your pattern and construct your garment with care, focusing on achieving a clean, professional finish.

Using a duvet cover as your main material, you’ll explore how to layer and handle fabric for a quilted effect, while also having the opportunity to personalise your jacket with stitched details and individual touches.

You’ll leave with a completed jacket and the confidence to continue making garments from reclaimed materials.

✂️ During the workshop you will:
• Transform a duvet cover into a quilted jacket
• Prepare and layer fabrics for a quilted effect
• Cut and construct the Lottie Jacket pattern
• Create and apply your own bias binding
• Add free-machine stitched details
• Complete a fully wearable garment

This is a supportive, practical workshop with plenty of guidance, ideal for those ready to move into garment making with a creative and sustainable approach.
