Hand-Dyed Embroidery Threads

Individually hand dyed one ball or cone at a time by syringing multiple colours into the centre, creating beautifully variegated threads with soft colour shifts and rich depth. Ideal for hand embroidery, slow stitch and mixed-media textile work.

Each thread is dyed in my Norfolk studio using a slow, considered process that allows the colour to move naturally through the fibres. By working with one ball or cone at a time and introducing more than one colour, every batch develops its own character, with subtle blends and gentle variations that emerge as you stitch.

These threads are designed for makers who enjoy letting colour lead the work. They bring movement and interest to hand embroidery, layered textile pieces and experimental surfaces, and work beautifully alongside fabric, paper and other mixed media.
