Rag Weaving Art Workshop with Cat Nash
Create a textured woven artwork using fabric strips and simple rag weaving techniques.
Led by Cat Nash at Eau Brink Studio in West Norfolk, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of transforming scrap fabrics into a richly textured and expressive piece of textile art. Working step by step, you’ll learn how to prepare your materials, build your weaving and develop colour, pattern and structure through layering fabric strips.
Using reclaimed textiles, you’ll explore how different fabrics behave and how to combine them to create depth and interest within your work.
You’ll leave with a finished or well-developed woven piece and the confidence to continue exploring rag weaving at home.
