The Art of Lutradur: Colour, Print & Surface
Lutradur Textile Workshop at Eau Brink Studio
Discover the creative possibilities of Lutradur in this relaxed hands-on textile workshop at Eau Brink Studio in West Norfolk.
Designed as the first workshop in a new Lutradur series, this session introduces you to the different weights and surfaces of this fascinating man-made material through colour, paint and print.
During the workshop you will experiment with spray colour, transfer paints and printed imagery while exploring how Lutradur reacts and changes with each technique. You will work on a selection of sample pages which will then be turned into your own simple stitched sample book using bias binding.
This workshop is about experimenting, learning the material and building confidence with Lutradur in a friendly and creative environment. No previous experience is needed.
Your finished sample book can then be developed further at home with hand stitch, machine stitch or mixed media techniques.
