Explore the illuminated and light responsive qualities of Lutradur in this creative textile workshop at Eau Brink Studio in West Norfolk.

This workshop focuses on translucency, stitched surfaces and the interaction between light and material while exploring how Lutradur can be transformed into glowing textured surfaces for textile art and mixed media work.

Working with several weights of Lutradur, you will experiment with cut surfaces, stitch, openings and layered textures while discovering how light changes the appearance of the material.

Through guided experimentation you will create a collection of illuminated samples and light responsive surfaces while developing ideas for future textile and mixed media projects.

This workshop is suitable for textile artists, embroiderers and mixed media creatives wanting to explore more atmospheric and experimental approaches to textile surface design.

All materials are included.

Sewing machines are available to use at the studio, although learners are welcome to bring their own machine if preferred.

Places are limited to allow plenty of individual support throughout the workshop.
