A stunning range of Batik Fabrics in distinctive colours and designs, hand-printed in a unique cottage industry by specialist craftsmen who have been passing their skills down for generations.
As these beautiful fabrics are hand printed there may be some loose dye on the surface of the fabric and some irregularities will occur as an inevitable and unique feature of the hand printing process.

Washing Instructions – Manufacturer says: We recommend hand washing separately in cold water taking extra care with dark colours. The dyes used include vegetable dyes and some fading may occur after washing. Please do not tumble or use bleach and use a cool iron on the reverse of the fabric for best results. We strongly recommend testing a small piece first to be sure.

I ordered batik fabric which is absolutely gorgeous and great quality by John Louden. I rang to add a reel of cotton but it had already been despatched! Really quickly. However Anita sent me the reel of cotton separately without charge for the cotton or postage! Just excellent service.
