Create a unique mixed media notebook using fabric, paper, stitch and surface techniques.

Led by Angie Hill at Eau Brink Studio in West Norfolk, this relaxed and exploratory workshop invites you to experiment with layering, texture and creative mark-making. You’ll design and build your own notebook cover using a combination of materials, bringing together fabric, paper and mixed media elements to create a richly textured surface.

Working step by step, you’ll use craft Vilene as a base, adding layers, colour, text and surface detail before sealing your design with wax to protect and unify the finished piece. Once your cover is complete, you’ll stitch your pages into place using a simple binding method, creating a fully assembled, one-of-a-kind notebook.

You’ll leave with a finished piece and a range of techniques to continue exploring in your own work.
