Experimental Textile Workshop at Eau Brink Studio

Explore the more delicate and translucent side of Lutradur in this creative textile workshop at Eau Brink Studio in West Norfolk.

This workshop focuses on light, transparency and surface detail while exploring how different weights of Lutradur can be layered, cut and stitched to create subtle shadows, openings and textured surfaces.

Working experimentally, you will create a collection of translucent samples using simple techniques that allow light to pass through the material in different ways. You will explore cut surfaces, stitched openings, transparent layers and delicate textures while developing ideas for future textile and mixed media work.

The workshop is designed to encourage creativity and exploration in a relaxed and supportive environment, whether you are completely new to Lutradur or continuing the workshop series.

During the workshop you will:

  • Explore transparent and translucent qualities of Lutradur
