Led by Anita O’Neill at Eau Brink Studio in West Norfolk, this hands-on workshop is designed to help you build confidence and unlock the creative potential of your machine. Working step by step, you’ll explore decorative stitches, different threads and surface techniques, creating a stitched sampler as you go.

You’ll experiment with a range of threads, including metallic and variegated options, and learn how to use multiple threads through a single needle to create rich, textured lines — expanding what your machine can do without the need for additional equipment.

In the afternoon, you’ll be introduced to free motion embroidery, bringing together everything you’ve explored to create more expressive and individual stitched work.

You’ll leave with a collection of stitched samples and a clearer understanding of how to use your sewing machine creatively and with confidence.
