Join Angie Hill for a creative one-day workshop making your own mixed media notebook, combining paper, fabric, stitch, and surface design.
You’ll begin by constructing the book cover using craft Vilene as a base, layering papers, fabrics, and mixed media elements to build texture and interest. You’ll then paint or distress the surface, add words and embellishments, and finally seal the cover with wax to protect and unify the design.
Once your cover is complete, you’ll stitch the signatures into the cover, creating a unique, hand-bound notebook. These notebooks make wonderful gifts or can be used as a personal space to record ideas, sketches, and memories.
By the end of the day, you’ll leave with a finished mixed media notebook and a range of techniques you can adapt for future projects.

💷 £35 workshop fee
➕ £5 materials fee (payable to Angie on the day)
That’s six hours of supported tuition in a well-equipped textile studio, with all base materials supplied.
