During this creative one-day workshop you will:
-
Select from a wide range of aerial coastline photographs to use as your design source.
-
Explore painting, free-machine embroidery, and heat techniques to capture texture, movement, and colour.
-
Build your piece on Lutradur, layered over a painted background fabric, stretched in a large hoop (which you may stain or leave natural).
-
Complete your work with a calico backing for a professional finish.
What’s included:
-
All specialist materials, fabrics, paints, and hoops.
What to bring:
-
Your sewing machine (or reserve one of the 8 available at Eau Brink Studio).
-
A basic sewing kit (scissors, threads, needles, etc.).
By the end of the day, you’ll have created your own stitched aerial coastal landscape – a one-of-a-kind textile inspired by the world from above.
