Join Ruth Holmes for an inspiring workshop where you'll learn to transform photographs into stunning textile art using machine free motion embroidery. In this hands-on session, you will explore techniques to reimagine images, layering fabric and thread to create unique compositions on canvas.
You’ll begin by selecting a supplied photo and then discover how to enhance it and with image manipulation you will change it through stitching, adding depth and texture to your artwork. Ruth will guide you through the process of free motion embroidery, helping you develop your skills and express your creativity.
All materials will be provided, including pictures, canvases, fabrics, and threads, so come ready to unleash your imagination! Bring your sewing machine and sewing kit.
